Tuscany Vespa Morning Tour from Florence Itinerary

Is there anything more Italian than riding through the beautiful Tuscan countryside on the back of a Vespa scooter? We don’t think so. That’s why this small group ride is bound to be an incredible experience that suits both new and experienced scooter riders alike.

On this Vespa adventure, we’ll make a quick getaway from Florence’s energetic streets and head to the serenity of Chianti’s famous rolling hills. A wonderful chance to gain a new perspective on this peaceful landscape, soak up the fresh country air and set your gaze upon the golden-brown scenery as we delve deep into the heart of this celebrated winemaking territory.

But before we start our motors, first everyone will take part in an orientation session that will ensure we all have a safe journey along the rural roads. Led by a professional guide, you’ll learn about the scooters and undergo a driving test in an enclosed environment. This way, everyone can feel confident on their Vespa and have the best possible time once we hit the wide-open roads.

After we’ve become accustomed with the Vespas, we’ll climb aboard and head for the scenic landscape that’s bursting with wine estates, olive plantations and medieval villages that continue to thrive. There are plenty of photo opportunities, so we’ll stop along the road and make sure we capture these incredible scenes.

Cruising along these attractive paths, we’ll park ourselves at a prominent winery that produces the world-famous Chianti blend of red wine. Declared Italy’s first protected wine region more than 300 years ago, Chianti offers a rich variety of fascinating cellars and highly respected grape growers. At this wine estate, you’ll tour the cellar and learn the wonderful production secrets behind Chianti’s prized namesake product.

Back aboard the scooters, we’ll head for a second, but smaller boutique winery where we’ll sit down for a Tuscan-style meal, which features a selection of locally produced wines and olive oil that is simply delicious.

Highlighting the very best in this region of Tuscany, this exclusive Vespa riding experience will quickly make clear why this part of Italy is so highly regarded by food and culture lovers the world over.
